4 Injured, One Dead in Head-On Collision

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident this morning and one woman was killed.

The head-on collision involving a 2003 Ford Comcast Cable truck and a 2000 Mitsubishi happened at 3:22am, police report.

The three occupants of the Mitsubishi were trapped in the vehicle and were extracted by fire and rescue, police said. All three passengers were taken to the hospital.

The driver died upon arrival at the hospital. Two of the four passenger sustained serious injuries while the other passengers had only minor injuries and were released from the hospital.

The accident is under investigation pending further details.
