The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) conducts crash tests on vehicles. They rate vehicles and make their ratings, research and statistics available onlilne. Since there are millions of car crashes each year, and upwards of 50,000 deaths each year, why not take the most simple step to protect you and your loved ones: BUY A SAFE CAR! The 2008 Ford Taurus and the Audi A-4 and A-6 are award winners. By crashing actual vehicles and getting real statistics from the automobile insurance industry, the IIHS does us a great service. We all should make buying safe cars our number one priority.
