The Topps Company, based in Elizabeth, NJ, recalled 21 million pounds of groud meat. This is another case where contaminated meat caused e coli food poisoning. If you are a victim of food poisioning, these two attorneys specialize in this field: Eric Weinberg of Red Bank, New Jersey and Bill Marler of Seattle, Washington. Everyone is cautioned to cook hamburgers thoroughly and to make sure you wash your hands before and after handling ground meat. There are many who are now avoiding eating red meat because of the health threat. Mr. Marler represented many who died as the result of eating bad hamburgers at the Jack in the Box Restaurants several years ago. If you think you have been harmed, contact a doctor first, then your county health officer, and then contact a lawyer to see if you have a case.
